Each missionary begins their mission with at least one week at their home doing all things they would be doing at the Missionary Training Center they are assigned to. They would be studying scriptures, customs of the land, and learning the language. It is very intense and helps the missionary get accustomed to the missionary life.
After a week in Home MTC, Sister Copeland was driven to the Pasco Airport where she said good-bye to her family for 18 months. It is always an emotional day when a missionary leaves!
Sister Copeland's little sister, Brenly, was heart-broken to see her go. It broke all of our hearts to see her so sad.
